Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
Start your 5 days Kilimanjaro adventure as we depart from Moshi or Arusha towards the Marangu Gate, situated at an elevation of 1,860 meters. After completing park formalities, we begin our trek through lush rainforests filled with exotic flora and fauna. Our destination for the day is Mandara Hut, nestled at 2,700 meters amidst the verdant landscape. Enjoy the serene surroundings and settle in for the night, preparing for the journey ahead.
Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Rise and shine to continue our ascent, bidding farewell to Mandara Hut as we make our way towards Horombo Hut. Trekking through diverse terrain, we gradually gain altitude, reaching an elevation of 3,720 meters. Along the way, marvel at the breathtaking vistas of Kilimanjaro’s rugged beauty and immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring natural surroundings. Day 5: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate
As we bid farewell to the majestic slopes of Kilimanjaro, we retrace our steps back to Marangu Gate, where our journey began.
