Arrival Day: 6 Days Tarangire, Serengeti, Ndutu, and Ngorongoro Safari
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your representative for a transfer to Arusha. Settle into your accommodation, relax after your journey, and prepare for the safari ahead. An additional Arusha night can be arranged according to your arrival time and travel needs.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire
Your safari begins with pickup around 7:00 am to 8:00 am, with the exact time confirmed before departure. Drive approximately 2 hours (109 km) to Tarangire National Park. Start your game drive among elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species. Late afternoon, continue toward Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Serengeti
After breakfast, depart around 9:00 am to 9:30 am toward Serengeti National Park. Complete park check-in on arrival and enjoy the journey through changing landscapes toward Central Serengeti. Look for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Around 5:45 pm to 6:00 pm, drive to your Central Serengeti accommodation for dinner and overnight. Park check-out will be completed the following day. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ndutu
Enjoy breakfast before beginning morning and afternoon game drives across Central Serengeti. Watch for large herds and predators before driving toward the Serengeti exit point for check-out. Continue to Ndutu Area, with a late-evening game drive if time allows. During calving season, you may see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and other wildlife before dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Full-Day Ndutu Game Drive
Have breakfast at your accommodation, then head out with a packed lunch for a full-day Ndutu game drive. Calving season can bring fascinating wildlife activity, with wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains alongside gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators. Keep your camera ready throughout the day. Around 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm, return to your Ndutu accommodation for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Ndutu to Ngorongoro Rim/Karatu
Start early with breakfast, then depart at approximately 6:20 am for another rewarding Ndutu game drive with packed lunch. Continue searching for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other species associated with the calving-season ecosystem. After the morning wildlife viewing, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Rim or Karatu in the early afternoon for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for approximately 5 to 6 hours of game viewing with a packed lunch. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and other crater wildlife. After the game drive, begin the approximately 4-hour journey to Arusha. Around 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, arrive at your Arusha hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
Departure Day
After your safari, transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. Most hotels have a maximum checkout time of around 10:00 am, so plan your transfer accordingly. If you want to continue your Tanzania adventure with Kilimanjaro climbing, Zanzibar, or another activity, arrangements can be made.
