Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport to Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your arranged transfer to your booked hotel in Moshi. This arrival arrangement gives you time to settle before the mountain section begins. Day 1: Moshi Town to Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
Rising: 5,500 ft / 1,700 m to 9,000 ft / 2,740 m | Stretch: 7 km | Hike time: 4–5 hours | Climatic habitat: Montane Forest.
The trek begins at Marangu Gate and continues through forest toward Mandara Hut. This is the first hiking stage of the route.
Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Rising: 9,000 ft / 2,700 m to 12,100 ft / 3,700 m | Stretch: 11 km | Hike time: 6–8 hours | Climatic habitat: Heathland/Moorland.
The route continues from Mandara Hut toward Horombo Hut, with the landscape changing as you gain altitude. The day provides another substantial section of the Marangu trek.

Day 3: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Day 5: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Moshi to Arusha
Rising: 12,100 ft / 3,700 m to 5,500 ft / 1,700 m | Hike time: 5–7 hours | Stretch: 18 km.
The final mountain stage descends from Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate before continuing to Moshi Town. After arrival in Moshi, you will be transferred to Arusha for the night.

Day 6: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Pickup is planned around 7:00 am to 8:00 am, with the exact time confirmed before the safari. The drive to Tarangire takes approximately 2 hours over 109 km. During the game drive, you may see elephants and other wildlife. Late afternoon, continue to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart early for Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. After the crater visit, continue toward the Ngorongoro Gate to check out before driving back to Arusha. Arrival in Arusha is expected around 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Departure Day: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast, arrange your transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport according to your confirmed departure schedule.
